We have developed a technology named “Accompany Peptides”, wherein the clinical samples will be mixed with a set of synthesized peptides beforehand and afterwards sent for sample preparation.

Proteomics resolves to analyze proteins in a systematic way to profile compositions and changes of biology. Mass spectrometry-based proteomics has been largely applied to biological research and has set foot to clinical studies. Due to the rarity and special requirements of clinical samples, proteomics of low-amount of samples such as single cell proteomics are facing huge challenges, with a key issue in sample loss during preparation, which further affects analysis depth and accuracy.
We have developed a technology named “Accompany Peptides”, wherein the clinical samples will be mixed with a set of synthesized peptides beforehand and afterwards sent for sample preparation. In this way, the sample loss during preparation will be partly distributed to the accompany peptides. This design not only decreases the difficulties of sample handling, but also assures resultant reliability as the deliberately designed accompany peptides do not bring to interferences in the mass spectrometry detection.
